Data Privacy Statement

Purpose

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the principles, processes, and safeguards adopted by o3 Capital Global Advisory Private Limited (the Company/ o3 Capital) and includes its Subsidiaries and Associates, for the collection, processing, storage, sharing, and protection of personal data applicable rules, notifications, and directions applicable for time being in force.

This Policy covers:

  • The employees and their relatives, partners, interns, and consultants
  • Individuals clients or any individuals associated with corporate clients
  • Individuals who are investors, and their authorised representatives and nominees
  • Individuals who are vendors, service providers, and professional advisors
  • Any other individuals whose personal data is processed by the Company
Responsibility for protecting personal data

o3 Capital is responsible for protecting the individual’s data for which the individuals have given their consent for and/or for legitimate and lawful purposes.

Purpose for which information is collected

The Company may collect the personal data shall be collected for:

  • Processing invoices and payments of the vendors, service providers, advisors who are individuals
  • Details of the clients who are individuals or the individuals who are associated with the corporate clients for whom o3 Capital has provided advisory services for the purpose or in connection with providing such advisory services and vendor creation for invoicing
  • For processing payroll, insurance endorsements of the employees and their relatives and for the purpose of hiring
  • Details of the individual investors
  • Details of the individuals who have visited the office for identification purposes
Information collected from the Individuals

Personal information collected from the Individuals consists of

  • PAN, Passport, AADHAAR, Driving license, educational certificates, tax related documents, medical records
  • GST registration certificates
  • Bank account details, authorization details
  • Nominee details
  • Any personal data collected through third party who has the right to provide such information
  • Any other details of the individuals not specifically stated above
Further, all the personal details collected from the individual shall either be used only for legitimate purposes.

Data retention and deletion

Personal data will be collected, retained, shared and disposed of or deleted as per with the statutory requirements under applicable laws for time being in force including but not limited to The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and The Income Tax Act 1961 etc., for retention of such data and as long as required for the stated purpose for which such data was shared. o3 Capital shall retain copies contracts and personal data only to enable the Company to deal with any legal and statutory issues if any.

Your rights

You shall have various legal rights with respect of usage of your personal data including:

  • Obtain summary of personal data which is being processed
  • Restrict the use of personal data
  • Request corrections, completion, updating and erasing your personal data
  • Withdraw your consent for usage of personal data
  • Seek grievance redressal in case of breach of personal data
Protection of your personal data

o3 Capital takes appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal information from unauthorised access and disclosure.

Request corrections, completion, updating and erasing your personal data

If you wish to make corrections, update or raise request for deletion of your personal data, please send a email to compliance@o3capital.com. We may request that you prove your identity by providing us with a copy of a valid means of identification to comply with our security obligations and to prevent unauthorised disclosure of data.

Upon receiving such request, we ensure you act on your request within 7 working days of such request.
