MedPlus Health Services ("MedPlus"), India's second largest pharmacy chain, has received investment from Warburg Pincus and Premji Invest. o3 Capital was the exclusive financial advisor to MedPlus and its shareholders for the transaction.

Founded in 2006, MedPlus is India's largest independent and second largest omni-channel pharmacy chain operating over 2,000 stores across 210 cities in 7 states. The funds shall be utilized by the company to ramp up its store presence in order to consolidate its leadership position.

In addition to the primary infusion into the company, the transaction provided exit to the existing investors, Goldman Sachs and Edelweiss, who had invested in December 2017.
